ugh i hate trying to keep up with blogging..
anyways i played a show last monday, well an open mic, that went ok i guess, i was not really hear able to hear myself, but oh well.
anyways on the 24th im playing at hottopic, doing an acoustic show there, cant wait, hopefully that goes well!
and on the 29th im playing at mo's bar and grill, they want a two hour set, which im splitting with another person, ugh an hour is so long!
anyways thats whats new with me, yet i doubt anyone reads this.. oh well.

well hello,
how is everyone today?
anyways im so stoked for this year! this year is wonderful for music!!
afi is coming out with a new cd, and an ep
blink 182 is working on a new cd, and they're back!
no doubt (dont really care for them) are back
third eye blind is working on there new cd :-) ahhhhhh!!!!!!! i cant wait for this one!! same with afi, but i grew up on this band!! i think its a tie between both of them!
led zepplin is back, but robert plant wont be singing, so thats going to be kinda weird..
and im starting to like my music i write :-) ( i usually dont like it, yet people love it)
its just a wonderful year for music! i just hope i can finally find a job so i can pay for all these new cds and shows haha

now that, that is out of the way on to more important things!!
Basically ill be using this as an online journal for my perspective of my band and effects on me, also random things. So enjoy :-)
anyways to get started,
we have a website, but im still deciding who i want in the band, its at www.myspace.com/saltcitysound
we will be rerecording that song, Aaron will be in the band of course, im talking about drums and bass. we need to rerecord the song because the previous man who did it for us, would not really let me do what i want, and he wanted me to scream at the end, so basically we will either take the screaming out, or build it up. also after listening to it more, it just sounds empty, something is missing. well lots of things are missing, but yeah..
i've been writing lately, but due to some strings breaking, i havent, and its been very frustrating since i want to play guitar really bad right now haha
Also its been really hard for me to decide what i want to sound like, some days i want old punk sounding stuff, or new-AFI sounding, maybe we will just mix it, who knows. oh also, jade is my biggest influence for music, his style is amazing.
